Growing up in Canada, Alexandra was surrounded by the beauty of the great north. The Arctic Spring series explores the impact of climate change on the Arctic. The Arctic is warming twice as fast as the rest of the world, resulting in the ice melting earlier and earlier in the year. Spring has come early but at what cost? She extends this theme to her other works which explore our impact on the world and life around us. She uses colour to evoke a mood, provoke a response or to tell a story.
